Two ways to buy
Same platform, same list price, two ways to buy. A license period buys reserved capacity, and nothing leaves your environment. Month-to-month bills the capacity you actually run, by the hour.

Capacity Units
The platform is priced by the capacity you reserve. One Capacity Unit (CU) is 1 vCPU or 4 GB RAM, whichever is larger, of what a resource reserves, times its replicas. One list price per CU; the discount comes from how long you commit. A license period buys reserved capacity. Month-to-month bills CU-hours for the capacity you actually run.
The price list
Per month, excluding VAT. The same list price in both ways to buy; the term decides the discount.
1 vCPU or 4 GB RAM, whichever is larger, times replicas. Month-to-month meters CU-hours: a CU that runs the whole month costs the monthly price, and less if it runs part of it.
VMs are measured in the same CU but priced at their own rate.
Per provisioned GB of storage the platform manages. The disks underneath are yours.
Every resource is billed for at least 0.1 CU. It covers that the resource exists, has a route and is maintained, also at zero replicas.
Builds, deploys and traffic cost nothing extra. The servers and disks underneath are yours and are never billed by Stackship.
Term discount
The discount comes from how long you commit. It applies to CU, VMs and storage, and to the Sentinel and Circuit markups too.

A license period starts at 20 CU, 10 000 kr per month at list price. No volume discount.
All prices exclude VAT. Management layer only — compute and storage are billed by your own cluster or cloud. Professional services (installation and support) are quoted separately.
Circuit
Circuit builds and maintains line-of-business systems on your Stackship platform, with AI agents doing the work. The price is a markup on the capacity the systems use. No base fees and no fees per system or user.

Price per CU per month
Running capacity costs 500 kr per CU per month. Sentinel adds 250 kr and Circuit 500 kr per CU they cover. The markups are shares of the CU price, so the VM price and the term discount follow. On a license period the markups draw on the same CU pool: Sentinel 0.5 CU and Circuit 1 CU per CU they cover.

Sentinel is a markup on the CU price of the capacity it covers, so the term discount applies here too. On a license period Sentinel draws 0.5 CU from the CU pool per CU it covers.
